Ihuoma Chidire Madu is a Lawyer and the Partnerships Manager at Silicon Africa Technologies Ltd, where she sits as a member of the Executive board of the company. She is currently solving the malaise of ignorance in Africa through a social media/technology impact intervention she project-manages; SMFEST, a platform that exposes young people in Africa to the advantages of technology, social media, and innovation, one city at a time. Ihuoma Chidire is a member of the board of trustees (BOT) of the Free Tribe Network (an NGO focused on reproductive and family Wellness), a member of ForbesBLK community, a human rights activist, gender advocate, and prolific writer.
She is an advocate of young women in leadership, women in tech, a volunteer life coach for teenage girls and identifies as a Smart Money Woman. She has sat on the steering committee of interventions like Nigerian Women for Peace (NGWomen4Peace), SheGoverns Campaign and other interventions targeting peace, emancipation, and leadership of women in the society. Ihuoma is a also a serial, professional volunteer who sits at the core leadership of most volunteering experiences.
She continues to raise and inspire young women to rise up to the demands of leadership and decision-making in any space, and hopes to raise about 200 young female leaders in Africa by 2033, who rise up to the obligations of leadership, no ifs, no buts.
