Globally, the youth are the leading frontiers in any industry and are vast users of social handles, job applicants, and media presence. This implies that efforts and energy ought to be directed to the youth if one is seeking to make any significant societal impact.

Gladly, there came a solution, a conference that recognized and understood this need. It gave out knowledge without any limit and also sent a message into the minds of millions.

The Genesis

March 23, 2024, Port Harcourt, Nigeria experienced a magnitude of audience from over 5 African Countries, and an audience of over 3000 Smart Minds, but what was the event? The Youth Leadership Conference.

Going back to the genesis, November 2023 birthed wider news of a coming conference, the internet, and every social media platform buzzed with notification of the JPI Youth Conference. The energy was surprising at its apex as uses began registering from then till February 2024. But there was a master brain, that was Dr. Jamie Pajoel.

Dr. Jamie Pajoel is well known as a global speaker who has given electrifying speeches around the world and has a reputation for holding successful physical and virtual training. As such, from the genesis, his record was apt and the certainty of this being a success was predictable.

My Experience

On the day of the event, I left my home by 6 am, and before 7 am I was glad to be at the venue timely. However, my joy was short-lived. I walked into the conference complex to meet over a thousand energetic and smartly dressed young creative minds. It was natural to see this number that early, but I never expected it. Orderly, the protocol department had everyone verified and checked, before entering the auditorium.

But by its side was a hub to build connections. On the fine carpet grass with varying backgrounds to style concepts, industrials took turns to have interviews with guests and the audience. People also used the avenue to build networks, make new friends, take amazing pictures, and bond.

Personalities with Substance

Most of the time, what makes individuals attend events is the caliber of the people coming. When they are personalities of substances that can make an impact, it is far easier to find a reason to make oneself available.

That was exactly the case for the conference. The conference featured various talk sessions from speakers who were experts in their field of specialization, panel sessions with individuals with successful track records, drama presentations to thrill the audience, and spoken words. Each personality graces the occasion with their story and how to be successful in today’s world.

The speakers in no particular order were Dr. Jamie Pajoel, Rev. Lanre Oluseye, Dr. Stephen Akintayo, Barr. Austen Nnadi, Mrs. Chioma Ifeanyi-Eze, Dr. Summy Smart Francis, Hilda Dokubo, Kanayo O.
