Gilgal Umia (The Boss Writer) is a multi-award-winning writer and storyteller who is passionate about helping writers, business owners and organizations leverage content creation for visibility and profitability.

She is the host of the boss writer bootcamp and other workshops that have impacted over 10,000 writers in the last 3 years.

Gilgal has spoken in over 100 events (both virtual and physical), and has been featured programs like The Ladies Night Show (ITV radio, FM 92.3), Edo Broadcasting Service, Cyclers Media, The Big Game Conference, Influential Writers Summit, a judge in different writing competitions, and more.

Her rich blend of experience and expertise in writing has earned her several gigs with brands and individuals within and outside Nigeria (Canada, UK, South Africa and more). She’s presently the lead creative of G-raise Writers, founder of Fellowship And Wonders, moderator at Influential Writers and Authors Community, just to mention a few.

Gilgal is an author of 10 books, a graduate of the University of Benin and currently at the peak of her master’s program. She hails from Delta State. Aside from writing, she’s enjoys teaching, counseling and acting.
